Nickel Electro’s Clifton Range® 1101E Boiling Water Bath like the other 1100 Series baths is a fixed temperature boiling bath that finds use where open flame or direct heating on hotplate is unacceptable. Its inbuilt water level regulator, sheathed immersion heater and safety cut-out emphasizes the importance of user safety, while the concentric ring lids helps vary the diameter of each hole to accommodate different sizes of vessels of evaporating dishes and glassware, including round-bottom flasks during use .

For temperature  control between vigorous boil and gentle simmer, the Inline Energy Regulator (ER-1) can be used .
